You likely have identifiable allergen triggers

These symptoms don't have to be your normal. Our testing panel identifies the exact triggers driving your immune overreaction.

From first visit to lasting relief

Every patient starts with testing — not guesswork. We prescribe based on your actual results.

01

Comprehensive Evaluation

Full health history review. We identify symptom patterns, environmental exposure, and your lifestyle to guide testing.

02

Advanced Allergy Testing

Skin prick tests and/or blood panels to precisely identify your allergen triggers — pollen, dust, pet dander, food, mold & more.

03

Personalized Treatment Plan

Your licensed provider designs an immunotherapy program — shots or sublingual drops — tailored to your specific results and lifestyle.

04

Ongoing Support & Follow-Up

Regular monitoring, in-person or virtual, as your plan progresses. We adjust based on your response to maximize long-term relief.

Suffering 365 days a year?

Year-round symptoms usually point to perennial allergens in your home environment — dust mites, pet dander, cockroach proteins, or mold. These are treatable. We test the full environmental panel and design sublingual drops or shots you can take at home.

Allergies limiting your performance?

Athletes and active adults know how much allergies can tank a workout or an outdoor event. Reducing your allergen load improves breathing capacity, reduces inflammation, and helps you train and compete at your best — without being sidelined by pollen counts.

Personalized to you — not a template

After testing, your provider chooses from two proven immunotherapy paths based on your results and lifestyle.

Subcutaneous Immunotherapy

Allergy shots are the gold standard for long-term desensitization. Small allergen doses are injected under the skin, gradually retraining your immune system over time to stop overreacting to the triggers identified in your testing panel.

Administered in-clinic by a licensed provider
Highly effective for environmental & seasonal allergies
Build-up phase: weekly injections for several months
Maintenance phase: monthly visits once tolerance is built
Often covered by insurance (BCBS, UHC, Aetna & more)
W1
Initial DoseLow-dose baseline — your immune system begins exposure
W4
Build-Up PhaseDose increases weekly — gradual desensitization begins
M6
Early Symptom ReductionMost patients notice measurable improvement around month 6
M12
Maintenance PhaseMonthly shots maintain your tolerance — significant relief sustained
Y3
Long-Term RemissionMany patients achieve lasting relief even after completing treatment

Sublingual Immunotherapy

Sublingual drops place small amounts of allergen extract under the tongue, where they're absorbed directly into the immune system. Ideal for patients who prefer to treat at home, or who are not candidates for injections.

Taken at home — no clinic visits required during treatment
Drops placed under the tongue daily
Great option for children and needle-averse patients
Effective for dust, mold, pet, and food allergens
Customized to your specific allergen profile
D1
Starter Kit DispensedCustom drops compounded based on your test results
W2
Daily Home DosingDrops administered at home — a few seconds each morning
M3
Follow-Up Check-InVirtual or in-person to assess progress and adjust dosing
M6

Frequently asked questions

How long does allergy testing take?+
A comprehensive allergy evaluation — including health history and skin prick testing — typically takes 60–90 minutes at your first visit. Blood panel results are usually available within a few days.
Is immunotherapy covered by my insurance?+
Office visits and lab work are typically covered with a small co-pay under most major plans. Coverage for immunotherapy itself varies by plan. We verify your benefits before your visit — no surprises.
How soon will I feel better?+
Many patients notice gradual symptom improvement within the first few months of immunotherapy. Significant relief is typically experienced around months 6–12. Long-term remission is the goal over 3–5 years of treatment.
Do I need a referral to be seen?+
No referral is needed. You can schedule directly at any of our four Texas locations — or book a virtual consultation if you'd prefer to start from home.
Can children receive allergy testing and immunotherapy?+
Yes. Allergy testing and immunotherapy are safe and appropriate for children. Starting treatment earlier often leads to better long-term outcomes and can prevent the development of additional allergic conditions.
What's the difference between shots and drops?+
Allergy shots (SCIT) are administered in-clinic and are considered the gold standard for many allergens. Sublingual drops (SLIT) are taken at home daily and are ideal for patients who prefer convenience or dislike needles. Your provider will recommend the best option based on your test results.
Can I still take antihistamines while in treatment?+
Your provider will advise you on medication management during treatment. In general, you can continue as-needed antihistamines to manage symptoms, though many patients find they need them less and less as immunotherapy progresses.
Are virtual consultations available?+
Yes. BWell offers both in-person and virtual consultations. Virtual visits are great for initial discussions, follow-ups, and ongoing monitoring — though certain testing steps do require an in-clinic visit.
